Colissimo uses the SHA-1 encryption method, this algorithm is used to convert data into hexadecimal from an encryption key and a given character string: the signature. The encryption key is provided by Colissimo. It is unique and generated by the application. It enables you to calculate your signature.

The purpose of the signature is to guarantee that the data transmitted to the delivery method choice page will not be modified later. In particular, it renders memorising the call URL in a browser unusable.
The calculation and the list of the calling parameters composing the signature are included in the Integration Guide for the Delivery Method Selection Page.

ColiShip, the online franking tool, lets you generate labels and prepare your parcel shipments, once you've subscribed to a Colissimo contract. To access it, you need to log in with your Colissimo Box login and password. 

You'll find the following features in ColiShip: 

• The ability to generate labels for outbound/return, Metropolitan France, Overseas, International, Home, Collection point...
• The options available to you: insurance, DDP option, etc.

The following information is essential: a shipping address, a destination address, a telephone number, an evaluation of the weight, the offer and options for delivery of the parcel. 

Important : only parcels handed over to Colissimo are invoiced. There is no invoicing per printed label.

By default, ColiShip uses the address entered on your contract. 

You can easily modify the shipping address by creating a new address in the sender's address book and specifying for which shipments you wish to use it. 

It is possible to share an address book between several users of the same account. Addresses created, deleted or modified by one user will be shared with other users on the same account. 

To do this, log in to ColiShip with your Colissimo account number, go to the “Address book” tab in the settings and select "Share the address book". 

Important : it is not possible to share an address book between several accounts. 

The transport price displayed in ColiShip is indicative and calculated on the basis of the information entered when the label is created (weight, options, destinations, etc.). Monthly billing will be based on the options selected and any applicable surcharges. 

Any error in the data transmitted will be corrected by La Poste when the monthly invoice is issued.

By default, the general rate is displayed. It is possible to display the negotiated rate by logging on to ColiShip with the account, going to the settings, “Prices” tab and choosing "negotiated rates".
