FAQ

Contenu

Labels are invoiced when they are used on a parcel delivered in the Colissimo network: the creation of a label is therefore not invoiced until you have used it.

Contenu

It is possible to import your items into ColiShip to facilitate the creation of customs documents, which require the presentation of the complete contents and market value of each parcel.

To do this, go to “Settings”, “International settings” tab, and either create each item manually, or import a file containing the items following the suggested template. You can view the items registered in ColiShip on the same page.

Contenu

Coliship enables you to edit return labels to respond to requests for the total or partial return of orders from your international e-buyers to metropolitan France. To do this, go to the “Return parcel” menu and enter the address of the recipient of the return package (the initial shipping address of the outbound package or another address in France), the sender of the return package (the address of the e-buyer returning the package) and the characteristics of the return package.

For return parcels from countries subject to customs regulations, a customs declaration must be completed, including information on the contents of the return parcel and on the original parcel sent from France to the international country (number of the original parcel, for example). In this way, you can avoid reimportation costs.

Please note return labels are valid for 60 days.
Return labels are divided into 2 parts: the transport part and the proof of deposit. They are specific and adapted to the country of deposit. They contain information about the parcel, and describe the instructions to be followed for returning the parcel in the language(s) of the country of delivery.

ColiShip automatically displays the customs documents to be completed (CN23) when you send a parcel to a country subject to customs. This does not apply to European Union countries. In other words, only non-EU countries, major export countries, specific EU territories and French overseas territories are subject to customs formalities.

Contenu

For international and overseas destinations (with the exception of the 5 departments in zone OM1), the customs documents to enclose with your Colissimo International & Outre-mer shipments are as follows:

  • 3 copies of the CN23 customs declaration
  • 2 copies of the commercial or pro forma invoice (0% VAT for shipments outside the EU).

Then :

  1. Slide all documents into a transparent plastic pouch.
  2. Glue this pouch to the packaging, preferably on the same side as the shipping label.

These documents must not be glued directly to the packaging, but must remain accessible via the pouch, so that they can be picked up by customs.

Please note : the shipper is required to keep a copy of the CN23 within the legal time limit as proof of export for tax purposes, so a total of 4 copies of the CN23 are required.

In the 5 overseas departments of the OM1 (Guadeloupe, Martinique, French Guiana, Reunion and Mayotte), the process is 100% digitized and the Post Office operates end-to-end, so there is no need for any paper documents to be attached to the packaging.
