The code will be sent to them:
- By email the day before delivery;
- By text message on the morning of delivery, with the 6-digit code and a link to the QR code;
- In addition, the delivery person or Colissimo Customer Service can resend the code if necessary.

If the recipient does not give the code to the delivery person:
- The package cannot be delivered to your customer;
- The delivery person will make a second attempt to deliver the package, during which your customer can provide the code;
- If this attempt also fails, the package will be held at the nearest post office.

We secure data flows and mask the code in all our tools.
In addition, for added security, we exclude intermediaries who could have access to notifications.
Finally, if your customers are absent, we advise you to make them aware that they should only give the secure code to people they trust.
