FAQ
Dangerous goods have a Safety Data Sheet (SDS) provided by the manufacturer, which must be sent by your sales representative for product analysis by the Safety Experts.
You will also need to provide the following information:
- Product name, reference number, unit weight, manufacturer
- Packaging:
- Primary packaging: cardboard box, can, bottle, etc.
- Secondary packaging intended for shipping: reinforced cardboard box, etc.
- Destinations of the packages (France, French overseas departments and regions, Europe, rest of the world)
The study carried out by our Safety Experts ensures that these goods do not pose any danger to the employees who will be handling the package, nor cause damage to our machines. They also indicate the Limited Quantity of hazardous material that must not be exceeded in a package (specific measures imposed by the US Postal Service).
The Limited Quantity of hazardous material is indicated in the analysis report from our Safety Experts*. It is also indicated in the tables associated with the cosmetics kit and the e-smoker kit.
*Contact your sales representative in advance for more information, or our Colissimo customer service representatives via the contact form on the website.
For each parcel, a provisional delivery date is calculated. If this date is exceeded and the package is not presented/delivered, the package is considered late.
Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays) from 8am to 6pm
