The information provided by the CO2 calculator meets a specific use case for monitoring the CO2 emissions of the flows you entrust to us. To inform a consumer of the CO2 emissions of a delivery method, it is necessary to use a calculation methodology that is comparable between different delivery methods. The French Ministry of Ecological Transition, Ademe, e-tailers, consumer associations, La Poste and carriers have worked to define a reliable and comparable standard for measuring CO2 emissions for consumer communication purposes. So if you want to display CO2 information on the delivery methods you offer your customers, you must not use information from the CO2 calculator, but refer to the experimental standard NF XP 50-401. Colissimo will provide the information you need during 2025.

In the meantime, you can raise your customers' awareness of the environmental impact of their delivery by using the Colissimo Ecological Score.

To compare the CO2 data of your different carriers, make sure that the methodologies and calculation perimeters of each carrier are similar. 
If this is not the case, the comparisons will not be valid. 

Colissimo applies a calculation method in line with GLEC recommendations, and has opted for external accreditation validated by the Smart Freight Center.

Although Colissimo, as a postal operator, is not obliged to produce a GHG balance sheet for its transport services, we have chosen to provide the CO2 data linked to the services carried out by applying the most demanding standards of the Smart Freight Centre.
