FAQ

Contenu
  • At the time of collection, each parcel for eligible destinations is given a guaranteed or indicative delivery time, depending on the destination
  • This delivery time is allocated to the parcel according to the following parameters:
    • Destination
    • Destination postcode
    • Postcode of delivery
    • Day and time of delivery

This is expressed as a number of days (x days). It corresponds to the reference delivery time for the parcel.
This reference delivery time is then compared with the actual delivery time for the same parcel.

  • The actual delivery time corresponds to the time from the time the parcel is picked up in the postal network (1st time the parcel is flashed), until the 1st delivery attempt is flashed.
  • The day taken into account for the start of the calculation is adjusted according to operational specificities.
    • Parcels picked up at post office type sites after the drop-off deadline will be considered to have been picked up on the next working day.
    • Parcels picked up at Parcel Platform sites between midnight and the cut-off time (generally between midnight and 3 a.m.) will be considered to have been picked up on the previous working day.
  • The following are deducted from the delivery time:
    • Weekly rest days:
      •   Sundays when the parcel is physically located in France
      •  Saturdays and Sundays when the parcel is located outside France (transport and delivery in the destination country), or Fridays and Saturdays for the destinations concerned.
    • Public holidays:
      •  Public holidays in France when the parcel is physically located in France
      •  International public holidays when the parcel is located outside France (transport and routing in the destination country).
    • Time spent in Customs:
      •   From the day of the first Customs entry flash to the day of the last Customs exit flash.
    • Neutralisation days:
      •  Examples: major localised forces, movement bans.

This data is not accessible from the delivery indicators dashboard. On request, your sales contact can provide you with the delivery performance for each of the International and Overseas destinations within your scope of activity, provided that it is calculated for the destination requested.

These terms are used for shipments outside the European Union or to French overseas departments and territories. Shipments to these destinations may be subject to duties and taxes, depending on the import destination's duty-free thresholds.

DAP stands for ‘Delivered At Place’. This is the default Incoterm. In this context, it is the consignee who pays the duties and taxes on delivery.

DDP stands for ‘Delivered Duty Paid’. As the sender, you can choose this option when creating your transport label for Colissimo Domicile with signature shipments (International or Overseas). With DDP, the sender pays the import duties and taxes. The sender has the option of integrating them into the order tunnel. In this way, e-buyers are fully aware of the price of their purchase and there are no unpleasant surprises on delivery. Find out more about the DDP option.

Customs declarations are mandatory for all parcels shipped to countries outside the European Union as well as for specific territories and French Overseas Territories. The information on the customs declaration is used by the customs authorities to establish customs duties and taxes, compile international trade statistics and conduct targeted checks.*
