Impacts of the traffic ban in Ile de France on 13 and 14 December

Dear customers

On Tuesday 13 December, in anticipation of a snow/ice episode, the Prefecture of Police published an order banning the movement of heavy goods vehicles to and from the Ile de France region for a period of 24 hours. On Wednesday 14 December, the ban was lifted at 10am, not allowing an immediate return to normal and causing a delay in the parcels taken in charge on these 2 days. The accumulation of these parcels also created a bottleneck, disrupting the distribution of 15/12.

This situation led us to modify the transport plan in the region, resulting in de-optimisation and delivery delays.

As a result, due to this situation beyond our control, we have had to suspend compensation for late deliveries for parcels picked up between 13/12 and 15/12 inclusive.

The Colissimo team thanks you for your understanding. Do not hesitate to contact your usual contact person if you have any questions.

Sincerely
