All your international shipments are subject to customs clearance fees and duties and taxes at destination, which, depending on the incoterm you use, may be charged to your customers. This additional cost of delivery may result in the refusal of the goods and the return of the package at your expense.
What's new on 1 September 2022:
- A more attractive tariff for the FTD/DDP Overseas option which increases to €5.10 per parcel thanks to the dematerialisation of duty and tax clearance fees.
- A new partner for the United Kingdom, which implies the adaptation of the current option process and allows to revise the option rate to this destination (a degressive rate is available according to the volume commitment on the option to this destination, for more information, please contact your usual commercial contact).
Then opt for the FTD/DDP option, which allows you to :
to know the total amount of the order as soon as the shopping cart is validated (taxes included)
the reduction in the number of returned parcels, linked to the refusal to pay duties and taxes on delivery (payment made at the time of the order)
simplification of the logistical part via the electronic transmission of customs documents (paperless) except for the United Kingdom
smooth and surprise-free delivery for your recipients, who will not have to pay for their goods
The FTD/DDP Colissimo option is available:
French Overseas
Colissimo Domicile and Overseas offers & Colissimo ECO Overseas, only to Guadeloupe (including Saint Barthélémy and Saint-Martin), Martinique, Reunion, Mayotte, French Guiana, and excluding Saint Pierre and Miquelon.
International
Colissimo Domicile International with Signature only for Privilege Customers, available to 21 destinations: Australia, Bahrain, Canada, China, Egypt, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Kuwait, Mexico, Oman, Philippines, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, South Africa, South Korea, Switzerland, Thailand, United Kingdom, United States.
FTD/DDP option to the UK:
Since 12/5/22, the FTD/DDP option is managed by Fedex instead of Parcelforce. The rates for the FTD/DDP option in force since 9/1/22 are maintained.
The choice of the online option generates the following 100% digital/paperless customs process:
- No need to print and affix customs documents to the parcel
- The Commercial Invoice only needs to be filled in and replaces the CN23 and commercial invoice documents
Streamline the purchasing process in the French Overseas Departments by opting for the FTD/DDP option
For all sales made from Metropolitan France :
- With a value (retail + postage + optional insurance) greater than or equal to €22.
- No charges for customs clearance at destination
- The amounts of duties and dock dues are paid in advance by La Poste to the customs office and will be re-invoiced to you by Colissimo
