That time when clicks turn into gifts, warehouses come alive, and we join forces to make every delivery deliver on its promise.
Our teams, our platforms, our sorting centres and our customer service are mobilised throughout the country to ensure that each parcel arrives on time, and that the magic of Christmas works until the last order.
It is a race against time that we know well and that we will, once again, succeed together. Our objective remains the same : to make this Peak Period a shared success, for you, and for the millions of e-shoppers who are waiting for their packages under the tree.
The power of a network mobilized for your end-of-year volumes
The Peak Period cannot be improvised. At Colissimo, it is prepared months in advance, in each link in the chain. This year, our organisation is well established, and throughout the country, our sorting platforms are organised to accommodate the 105 million parcels expected at the end of the year.
Our teams are fine-tuning the final settings:
- Our sorting platforms, old and new generation, work hand in hand with Viapost, to deploy all the power of a robust, fluid and responsive network.
- Black Friday kicks things off. From the night of Sunday to Monday, the sites are running at full capacity. In the following days, the network operates 24 hours a day, with teams taking turns to ensure continuous sorting.
In the field, some sites deploy manual sorting sites in addition to the machines, in order to leave nothing to chance. Additional logistics spaces are opening their doors to absorb exceptional volumes and maintain the fluidity of flows throughout the country, throughout France.
A national network that adjusts where activity is intensifying
Throughout the country, Colissimo is adapting its system to absorb peaks in activity where they are concentrated. Each region has a precise plan, designed to make the end of the year a success.
- In the West and Île-de-France, some platforms are temporarily increasing their capacity to streamline flows and guarantee the continuity of deliveries, even in periods of high demand.
And to connect all this network, Colissimo is deploying a reinforced transport plan:
- An additional 300 connections are added to our daily connections already active in the network.
- Continuous transport, day and night, for Black Friday and the nights before Christmas.
Each customer chooses where and when to receive their purchases
The holidays are approaching, the days are speeding up, and everyone is running after time. Your customers want to receive their orders stress-free, Christmas gifts ready to slip under the tree.
With Flex Services, Colissimo gives them the hand to track, reschedule a delivery on another day to the same address, choose another pick-up location. Everything becomes possible, in just a few clicks.
And because the holiday season rhymes with travel and holidays, Colissimo offers you a storage period: 14 days at the post office, 8 days at a retail relay, and 5 days at a locker.
