What is a Pickme neighbour relay?
Founded in 2019, Pickme is a French start-up that invented the concept of collaborative neighborhood delivery. It relies on its network of 12,000 neighbour-relays (or Keepers), who voluntarily receive parcels for their neighbours. These private relay points are located close to your customers' homes, sometimes in the same building or neighbouring house, but more often than not with a neighbour within a radius of less than 400 metres.
By joining this network, each neighbour-relay receives additional income of a few pence per parcel received and delivered. At the same time, they contribute to smoother, more local and inclusive logistics. This collaborative solution appealed to Colissimo, and is now part of the Colissimo Out of Home Delivery offering throughout France. This innovation adds 3,000 additional contact points to the existing network (La Poste points, retailer pick-up points, lockers). You therefore benefit from an expanded and reinforced network, designed to simplify the receipt of parcels for your customers.
How can I have my parcel delivered to a Pickme neighbour relay point?
Your online shoppers enjoy a simple, secure and transparent process for collecting their parcels from a neighbour-relay point.
- At the time of online purchase: choose Pickme from the Colissimo Out of Home Delivery offer.
During the checkout process, online shoppers can select Pickme as their delivery method, just like they would choose a retail pick-up point, a parcel locker or a La Poste point. - In case of absence: delivery modification via Flex Services
If the customer is not present for a home delivery, they can easily reschedule their delivery using Flex Services and opt for Pickme collaborative delivery.
In both cases, the customer selects an available neighbour relay point nearby directly on a map. The parcel is delivered to this neighbour relay point, while the recipient remains the owner and can track its delivery in real time. Once the parcel has been received, the neighbour relay point contacts the recipient via secure messaging and/or text message to arrange a delivery time.
The parcel is only handed over upon presentation of a unique 4-digit code, ensuring simple and completely secure pick-up.
