By your side during the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games!
As you know, France, and specifically Paris and the Île-de-France region, will host the Paris 2024 Olympic Games from July 26th to August 11th, 2024, followed by the 2024 Paralympic Games from August 28th to September 8th, 2024.
During this global event, the primary objective of the State and the Ministry of the Interior will be the safety of people and property, as well as the proper management of flows and traffic.
How to deliver during the Paris 2024 Olympic Games ?
Some roads will be closed to traffic at specific times, and areas will be temporarily inaccessible depending on the events.
This will have impacts on deliveries and our services (collection, redelivery services, etc.), particularly in Paris and the inner suburbs.
As an event partner of the Paris 2024 Games, La Poste is in constant contact with the authorities who determine the traffic rules imposed. Please be assured that we will do our best to ensure the continuity of our services during this exceptional period.
Depending on the areas, traffic restrictions and limitations will be put in place. In 2018, we made a commitment to decarbonize Colissimo deliveries in Paris by the time of the Olympic Games. Promise kept, starting in 2023, with the massive deployment of cyclo-logistics, which should allow us to access the vast majority of restricted areas.
We will be in touch with you regularly to keep you informed of developments on this subject, including any impact on offers, delivery times, and any adaptations required to ensure the smooth running of this event.
We would like to remind you of the importance of providing us with all the contact details of your e-buyer customers. In this particular context, it is essential to keep them proactively informed and to be able to contact them if necessary. In the meantime, please do not hesitate to share your questions with your usual sales contact.
