- At the time of collection, each parcel for eligible destinations is given a guaranteed or indicative delivery time, depending on the destination
- This delivery time is allocated to the parcel according to the following parameters:
- Destination
- Destination postcode
- Postcode of delivery
- Day and time of delivery
This is expressed as a number of days (x days). It corresponds to the reference delivery time for the parcel.
This reference delivery time is then compared with the actual delivery time for the same parcel.
- The actual delivery time corresponds to the time from the time the parcel is picked up in the postal network (1st time the parcel is flashed), until the 1st delivery attempt is flashed.
- The day taken into account for the start of the calculation is adjusted according to operational specificities.
- Parcels picked up at post office type sites after the drop-off deadline will be considered to have been picked up on the next working day.
- Parcels picked up at Parcel Platform sites between midnight and the cut-off time (generally between midnight and 3 a.m.) will be considered to have been picked up on the previous working day.
- The following are deducted from the delivery time:
- Weekly rest days:
- Sundays when the parcel is physically located in France
- Saturdays and Sundays when the parcel is located outside France (transport and delivery in the destination country), or Fridays and Saturdays for the destinations concerned.
- Public holidays:
- Public holidays in France when the parcel is physically located in France
- International public holidays when the parcel is located outside France (transport and routing in the destination country).
