To reassure online shoppers when they make a purchase on your e-tailing site, it is important for them to instantly see which carrier will be handling their parcel and what the delivery process entails. Making this information readily visible will cut down on abandoned shopping carts and push your conversion rates up.

Several versions of the logo have been designed to make sure that the brand is always instantly recognisable.

However the standard version of the logo (4-colour process, horizontal) should be used whenever possible.

Sometimes, though, it simply won't be possible to use this version in your checkout tunnels. For spaces less than 60 x 60 px, we recommend using the vertical version.


 


Protection zone

The protection zone around the logo is designed to keep out any graphic item that might impede its visibility.

Use on coloured backgrounds

On a light-coloured background, use the standard version of the logo.
On a medium-coloured background, use the single-colour logo: 90 % black, Pantone Black 7 C or reversed out of white.
On a dark background, we recommend using the version of the logo that has the lettering reversed out of white.
As a general rule, it is best to use the logo on a white background. Only use the logo on a coloured background if this will optimise its visibility.


 


What not to do


It is absolutely essential to follow the rules for using the logo.
Any changes to the colour or shape of the symbol or the lettering are unacceptable.

The following uses are unacceptable  :

  • Any change to the colour of the symbol or the lettering;
  • Any change to the treatment of the symbol or the lettering;
  • Any change to the logo's construction (apart from versions presented in the guidelines);
  • Any change to the logo's proportions;
  • Using the lettering without the symbol;
  • Writing the "colissimo" brand name in the typography used for the logo, in either a title or body text;
  • Using the logo on a visual background that impedes visibility;
  • Placing the standard version of the logo on a background whose colour is too similar to one of the colours in the logo;
  • Adding elements to the logo or placing them in the logo's protection zone (text, figure, shading, etc.).

We have provided below the standard text used to present the delivery process to online shoppers. You can insert it on your delivery information page and with your T&Cs, depending on the delivery service you offer them.

 

Colissimo Domicile– without signature

Once we've prepared your parcel, it will be delivered directly to your letterbox within approximately 48 hours. If your letterbox is not big enough to hold the parcel and you are absent at the time, a missed-delivery notice will be left in the letterbox.
You can go online and indicate whether you want to pick another delivery date within the next six working days, or collect your parcel from the post office of your choice from 3pm the next day.
If you don't indicate any preferences, you will have 15 days to collect your parcel from your local post office.

Colissimo Domicile– with signature

Once we've prepared your parcel, it will be delivered to you within approximately 48 hours and you will be asked to sign for it. With Colissimo Pick-Up, there are a range of options for collecting your parcel: you choose whatever suits you best

– At a post office , you can choose to have your parcel delivered to any of the 8,000 post offices available throughout metropolitan France. (Note that your mail carrier will not make a home delivery in this case.)
Once we've prepared your parcel, it will be delivered to you within approximately 48 hours and you will be informed by text message and email when your parcel is ready for collection. You will then have 10 working days to collect your parcel. After that, your parcel will be returned to us.

– at a Pickup-branded pick-up point , you can choose to have your parcel delivered to any of the 9,500 neighbourhood shops in the Pickup network - close to your home, your workplace or your holiday destination.
Once we've prepared your parcel, it will be delivered to you within approximately 48 hours and you will be informed by text message and email when your parcel is ready for collection. You will then have 10 working days to collect your parcel. After that, your parcel will be returned to us.

– at a Pickup station locker you can choose to have your parcel delivered to any of the 500 automatic parcel-collection lockers conveniently located at train and metro stations, car parks, shopping centres, etc. They are accessible on a 24/7 basis (unless subject to the opening hours of shopping malls and transport zones).
Once we've prepared your parcel, it will be delivered to you within approximately 48 hours and you will be informed by text message and email when your parcel is ready for collection. The text message and email will also give you the code you need to collect your parcel. You have three working days to collect your parcel. After that, your parcel will be returned to us.
